Resumen: [EN] Due to the double qualification of a PhD and five years of professional experience outside of higher education, it is very difficult for universities of applied sciences to recruit good professors in specific areas such as certain areas of computer science. Since such a shortage of qualified professors can lead to considerable deficits in higher university development, the present structured personnel recruitment procedure for universities of applied sciences was developed.
