Resumen: The publication, "Plants and Planting in Mediterranean Landscapes", has systematically and didactically gathered information for the selection of botanic species suitable for landscape and garden designs in Mediterranean climates. Concerning the structure and in line with the above, the book defines a series of plant groups according to design criteria and then develops the introductory aspects, the specific characteristics of the species included within the group, the general conditions for their commercialization and planting, and some general criteria for their maintenance. In particular, the groups defined in this book focus on groups of long-lasting species that help define the main structural and spatial qualities of the landscape and which are ordered in 10 chapters.
