dc.description.abstract | [EN] This paper presents a parametric study of layer adhesion in Large Format Additive Manufacturing (LFAM) applications using glass fiber (GF) reinforced acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS). The study focuses on the deposition time per layer (tL) and includes an innovative approach to monitor temperature variation throughout the printing process using an infrared camera. The paper provides a detailed account of the sample fabrication process and experimental tensile tests. Specifically, this study shows how lower times per layer yield better mechanical properties as material is deposited over hotter layers, resulting in smaller thermal gradients, hence better layer adhesion and reduced warpage. | es_ES |
