dc.description.abstract [EN] Paul-Marie Letarouilly copied the geometry of a drawing of Francesco Panini, but he omitted the shadows that had the drawing. He did it because he believed that the architect’s drawing did not need them, as Alberti, Durand and, afterwards also, Quatremère de Quincy affirmed.
