Imposiciones digitales y cognoscitivas en el cine actual

Abstract

[EN] This research work exposes the social and technological context in which we live. Visual hyperstimulation and multitasking have an impact on our cognitive abilities. This could explain the lack of sustained attention. These changes can be seen in the evolution of old technologies such as the printing press; and we wonder if it could also affect other cultural productions such as cinema, where a significant visual-digital predominance and a reduced temporality can be observed.

[ES] El presente trabajo de investigación expone el contexto social y tecnológico en el que vivimos. La hiperestimulación visual y la multitarea repercuten en nuestras capacidades cognitivas. Se podría explicar así la falta de atención sostenida. Esto cambios se pueden apreciar en la evolución de las viejas tecnologías como la imprenta; y se plantea si pudiera afectar también en otras producciones culturales como el cine, donde se observa un significativo predominio visual-digital y una temporalidad reducida.
